George Jacob Daleiden Jr, age 86, of Midway Township, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, June 29, 2020.

George was born in Foley MN, on April 12, 1934 to George and Angeline Daleiden.

He was an amazing husband to his wife, Julianne, of 61 years and together raised their 6 children in a loving home. George was known for his love of being outside cutting his firewood and making sure the house was always warm. We are quite certain he is in heaven chopping up that old oak tree.

He had a very special place in his heart for his grandchildren and always greeted them with his giant smile. He had a way to make people feel welcome and part of the family. Whether it was his kindness or humor, his enormous personality would shine through.

George is survived by his wife, Julianne; children, Gerald (Mary) Daleiden, Pamela (Bob) Sarvela, Teresa (Kevin) Thaemert, Gregory Daleiden, and Brenda (Dave) Buhr; grandchildren, Jacob Juntunen, Dieryck Daleiden, Sarah Chambers, Kevin Sarvela, Erica Juntunen, Steven Chambers, Karissa Sarvela, Miranda Chambers, Kaden Matteen and Branden Matteen; brothers, Raymond and David; and numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

George will be welcomed by many family members that preceded him in death, including his infant daughter, Mary; and daughter, Jacqueline.
