EXECUTIVE OF BANK, MRS. HUMPHREYS, DIES

Mrs. Althea B. Humphreys of 5523 Druid Lane, vice-president and head of the women's department of the Texas Bank & Trust, died Friday in a Dallas hospital.

Mrs. Humphreys joined the staff of Texas Bank & Trust in 1945 and had served as a vice president several years.

An active Dallas clubwoman, she was a member of the Dallas Council of World Affairs, Dallas Chapter of the American Institute of Banking, and the Zonta.

In addition, Mrs. Humphreys served as chairman of the Dallas-Fort Worth chapter of the National Association of Banking. She was honored earlier this yea for her work by the Management Seminary for Women Executives.

Survivors: A son, Kenneth Humphreys of Dallas; her mother, Mrs. Esthma Green of Dallas; her father, A. F. Green of Dallas, and two brothers, Frank Green of Dallas and A. J. Green of Los Angeles, Calif.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Sparkman/Hillcrest Funeral Home, 7405 W. Northwest Highway.
