My Dad died of a severe heart attack while driving home from work in Yellowstone National Park. He was in his fifth season at the Yellowstone Association. It heartens his loved ones to know he was living happily and died quickly. He was a full time traveler. He embraced friends and places all over this continent.
He always came home to the Northwest. He was born in Chehalis, WA. He was the fifth of six biological siblings; James, Betty, Norma, Ila and Cora Lee and three adopted siblings; Cookie, Johnny, and Rita. He was raised in Napavine. He graduated from Napavine High School in 1958. He served as a medic in the Air Force. Later he became a pilot, a flight instructor, a truck driver and more. My Dad was a man of many talents and skills. Most will remember something my dad fixed, built or refined for them.
My dad was a wonderful person. He was loved by many. He was funny. He was smart. When he cared for you; you knew it.
