Deceased Name: Glen D. Beebe
CHENEY - Glen D. Beebe, 78, died July 16, 2009, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, Wichita. He was born Nov. 4, 1930, in Manhattan, to George and Fern Eberhart Beebe. He was a retired bridge superintendent. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and the Korean War.

He married Helen Railsback. She survives. Other survivors include: two sons, Scott, Kingman, and Russell, Wichita; two daughters, Sherry Schmidt, Garden Plain, and Glenda Hoyt, Ottawa; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Lanterman Funeral Home Chapel, Cheney. Memorials may be sent to Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 South Market, Wichita, Ks., 67202.
