DEATH CLAIMS JAMES W.RYAN...
James William Ryan, 1625 East Washington Street, lifelong resident of this city, died at 11:28 a.m.yesterday at St.John's Hospital at the age of 45 years. He was born May 5, 1890, the son of Elizabeth Murphy and the late James Ryan. Death followed an operation for relief from appendicitis.
Mr.Ryan was employed by the Central Illinois Coal Mining Co. He was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and the Progressive Miners of America.
Survivors are his mother; two sisters, Mrs.Catherine Lucasey and Miss Anna Ryan; two brothers, William M.and P. J. Ryan, all of this city.
The body was taken to Ellinger and Kunz Funeral Home,where services will be held at 9 a.m. monday and 9:30 a.m. at the Cathedral, Rev.J. B. Franz officiating. Interment will be made in Calvary Cemetery.
