Goldie B. Littlejohn, 89, died at 2:20 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 14, 2005, at Hospice Inpatient Facility in Columbus. She was a resident of Edinburgh.
She was born June 8, 1916, in Ripley County to the late Ashley and Nora (Caplinger) Albright.
She married Harry E. Littlejohn on Dec. 18, 1949. He preceded her in death on April 22, 1998.
Survivors include a son, Johnny (Judy) Littlejohn of Columbus; a daughter, Dolores (Glenn) Wilcoxson of Edinburgh; four grandchildren, Ginny (Dick) Holmes, Vicki (Mike) Troyer, Yancy (Laura) Wilcoxson and Kim (Brook) Stewart; four step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; five great-stepgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Marvin Byard; eight brothers; and three sisters.
She was of the Methodist faith.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, flowers, reading and working word puzzles.
The Revs. Bryan Solomon and Barbara Grace will conduct a service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, 302 E. Main Cross St. in Edinburgh. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
