Helena Lebess Chmiel Adams died November 29, 2007, at Doctors West Hospital, in Columbus, OH. Helena was born February 1, 1924, at Chatteroy, West Virginia. She was the daughter of Walter and Lebess Marie Mariecott Chmiel. She is preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Adams; two brothers, Francis Chmiel and Marion "Sonny" Chmiel. Helena was the mother of three daughters, Almeda (Don), Judy (Dave), and Jeanie (Dudley); and three sons, Woody (Shari) , Chad (Roberta), and Steve (Cheryl) ; two sisters, Dora and Ann; and grandmother to 20 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be 2 p.m., Sunday at Shady Grove Cemtery, Louisa, KY. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME INC. of Louisa in charge of arrangements.
