He is preceded in death by his great-grandson, Austin Fleming; his brothers, Elza, Hildra, Elbert, Delbert, Clyde, and Clarence Adams; and his sister, Zella. He is survived by his beloved wife, Helena (Chmiel) Adams; 3 sons, Woodrow Jr. (Shari), Chad (Roberta) and Steve (Cheryl); and 3 daughters, Almeda (Don), Judith Lares, and Jeanie (Dudley); 21 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. Burial will be at Shady Grove Cemetery, Lawrence County, Kentucky.
