James Patrick Hanniver was my Great Grand Uncle. Uncle Jimmy and my Grandmother Lillian Agnes "Hanniver" Reid was brother and sister. Jimmy was son to John Hanniver and Jessie Higginbottom.

Jimmy's siblings was - Edward "Ted", Jessie "Rose", Dorothy "Dot", John Eclipse "Jack" , Lillian "Lil", Hetty, Raymond "Bobby", Marjorie "Marje" & youngest sibling Shirley.

Uncle Jimmy was married to Laurel Hanniver who passed away when their daughter (my cousin) Carolyn was around 7 years of age. They had another two daughters before Carolyn was born, one being stillborn, and the other didnt make it.

Many years after Aunt Laurel's passing Uncle Jimmy remarried to Meredith "Mary" Rae in 1981.

Uncle Jimmy passed away after battling cancer on 9 September 1995.
We deeply miss Uncle Jimmy, he was such a wonderful man, a great family man.
