Ole was the son of Francis Herbert Bradley and Miranda(Mirandy) Dowdle. His parents were married in Adair Co., Iowa on 20 Nov. 1872. His mother passed away before 1910 when the family was living in Stuart, Adair Co. Ole and his father lived also in Atlantic, Cass Co., Iowa . In 1910 Ole was living in Colville, Stevens Co., Washington near where his father's brother, Abraham L. was living at the time. In the same year, his father lived in both Atlantic and Colville, until he made Colville his permanent home. His father became Justice of the Peace and Ole worked as a house painter and decorator. His father passed away suddenly from a heart attack, in 1917.
At age 50, Ole was living in Spokane and married for the first time, Mrs. Lillian Miller Hinton, aged 40, also from Spokane on 4 Aug 1926. He, his wife Lillian, and her son, Vincent Hinton, lived in 1930, in Bridger Villiage, Carbon Co., Montana where he also worked as a house painter. O. O. Also lived in the small town of Spangle, south of Spokane.
As he aged, Ole suffered from generalized arteriosclerosis and dementia. He and his wife separated.
When his symptoms worsened, he was treated by Dr. M. Conway at Eastern State Hospital at

He was buried on 27 Aug. at the hospital cemetery. Since there are two cemeteries # 1 in use until about 1942, and # 2, from about 1942, it's not clear exactly in which of the cemeteries Ole is buried.
