Doris Marie Sanders Collins left this world to join her blessed Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 28, 2020. Doris was born January 31, 1930, to Marvin H. and Madge M. Sanders in Hollis, Oklahoma.
She married the love of her life, Jesse William Collins, in October 1949 in Ballinger, Texas.

They moved to Brady in 1962 where she lived until July 2019. Doris was an active member of First Baptist Church where she served as church secretary, Sunday School teacher, WMU leader and member of the choir. She loved telling others about the love of Jesus through her gift of singing.

Doris is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse, her parents, her two sisters, Virginia and Evalyn, two brothers, Clifford, and Marvin, and one son-in-law, Terry Alexander.

Doris is survived by Paul Sanders (brother) of Kentucky, Serena Alexander (daughter) of San Angelo, Texas, Jessica (daughter) and Michael Collins of Houston, Texas, Bonnie (daughter) and Herb McDaniel of Kernersville, North Carolina, Tim (son) and Mary Anne Collins of Belton, Texas, Wendy (daughter) and Wade Dacy of Las Cruces, New Mexico.

Meme was loved by her eleven grandchildren, Charlotte Kormash, Curtis Matheny, Chris McDaniel, Will McDaniel, Codi Walters, Valerie Thompson, Stephanie McDaniel, Jesse Collins, Herman Dacy, Rachel Collins, and Shelby Dacy and eleven great-grandchildren.
