Mr. EJ Sellers, age 80 of the Sellerstown Community in Whiteville, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday afternoon, June 28, 2020, at his home, surrounded by his beloved family.
EJ was born on February 25, 1940, in Columbus County, to the late Johnnie Carmichael and Eddie Sellers. Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Sellers and Leroy Sellers.
Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at Columbus Memorial Park; Pastor Roger Coffey will officiate the service.

EJ had a deep love for his family; He also thoroughly enjoyed racing and farming.
To cherish his memory, EJ leaves behind his beloved of almost 59 years, Patricia "Pat" Cox Sellers, of the home; two daughters, Terri Sellers Cox, and Melissa Sellers Gore and husband, Raymond, all of Whiteville ; grandchildren, Berry Cox, Michaela Bushee, Channing Gore, Devin Gore, and Logan Gore; great-grandchildren, Asa Gore, Phoenix Garzone, Alana Cox, Moon Cox, and Piper Bushee; two siblings, Sara Sellers Hawes (Kenneth, preceded) and Roger Sellers and wife, Carolyn, all of Whiteville.
