Doris Emelia Anderson, 99, of Sturgeon Bay passed away at Pine Crest Village on February 12, 2015. She was born February 9, 1916, in Ashland to Nels and Ida (Anderson) Olson. She married Frank Anderson in 1937, in Hastings, MN. He preceded her in death on March 5, 1975.

Survivors include two children, Elton (Lynn) Anderson, Manitowoc; Lois (Gerald) Garrity, Baileys Harbor; son-in-law, Larry Heard, Sturgeon Bay; ten grandchildren; three step-grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Linda Heard; son-in-law David Spude; grandson Mark Spude, three brothers and three sisters.

Private family services will be conducted at Forbes Funeral Home with the Rev. David Leistra officiating. Burial will be in Clay Banks Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the David Spude Endowment Fund at the Door County Cancer Center.
