Andrew & Augusta Bolm came from Sweden in 1893 with their son, Oscar & daughter, Esther. The family 1st settled in Flat Rock, Michigan, where the #1 dam on the Escanaba River is located.
They move to Bark River in 1902 & began farming, 2 miles south of Bark River.
Oscar would pick up butter & eggs from the local farmers & sold them in Escanaba, Michigan.
The family of 8 were member of the Methodist Church.
Children are: Esther, Erland, Arthur, Oscar, Ruth, Harold, Eva [Kallstrom] & Carl.
