01 MAY 2020 Incoming transfer, added gender.~Mary Lou Poyndexter, 53, of Sapulpa, died Sunday in Sapulpa from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Services were today at Stonebluff Baptist Church near Haskell, with the Rev. Lewis Havner officiating. Burial was at Gibson Cemetery, Stonebluff, under the direction of Dowdy Funeral Home, Haskell.

She was born Feb 12, 1936, in LeFlore and lived in the Haskell area several years. She lived in Sapulpa for the past few years. Mrs. Poyndexter was a sales clerk for Purty Oil Co., Tulsa. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Sue Arnold, and father, Jack Foutch Sr.

Survivors include husband Dean of Sapulpa; mother Eula Foutch of Stonebluff; sons Walter Arnold of Coweta and J.B. Arnold of Kirksville, Mo.; step-son Clay Poyndexter of Sapulpa; daughters Diane Baxley and January Williams, both of Sapulpa, and Rhonda Williams of Florida; step-daughters Shena Owen, Sherry Poyndexter and Sharon Poyndexter, all of Sapulpa; brothers Jack Foutch Jr., of Bixby, Ted Foutch of Depew, Jerry Foutch of Leonard, Johnny Foutch of Farmington, N.M., and Ronald Foutch, Mike Foutch and Rick Foutch, all of Stonebluff; sisters Peggy Edmondson of Muskogee, Helen Holloway of Leonard and Patsy Madewell of Stilwell; 14 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
