Boyd Clark Passes Away
Oscar Boyd Clark, age 52, passed away at his home, 4416 Fair Vista, Dallas, Saturday, of a heart attack, with interment in Restland Memorial Park Monday afternoon.
Boyd was born and reared here, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Clark who lived in this section of the city for years. Survivors are his wife and children, Billy and Jimmy, mother, Mrs. Ola Clark, sister Mrs. J.R. Huber.
Boyd was married to the former Miss Virda Leatherwood, a sister of Mrs. Lester Meyer, Richardson, in 1936. They have lived in Dallas for the past 16 years, where Boyd has been employed as a truck driver for the Moncrief-Lenior Company. Prior to moving to Dallas, he had lived in Richardson.
Rev. Rayburn Floyd and Rev. Fred Thompson officiated at the services held at Sparkman-Brand Funeral Chapel, 2115 Ross Ave. Pallbearers were George Mitchell, Avon Lamb, Oscar Barber, Troy Sherber, Ralph O'Dell and Davis Thompson, all of Dallas.
