Shirley Maudine Rogers 85, of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away October 22, 2020 at her home in Washita Point. She was born on October 22, 1935 in Bell County, Texas to the late Clarence Raymond Deaver and Lola Maude Cummings Deaver. Shirley was raised in Belton, Texas where she graduated from Belton High School. She married Denver Clay Rogers on August 26, 1955 in Belton and he preceded her in death on May 19, 2014. Shirley lived in Borger, Texas before moving to Coalgate in 1985 and she has lived the past nine years at Washita Point. She was a member of the Cottonwood Baptist Church in Coalgate and she enjoyed working in her garden, doing crafts, cooking and being in the outdoors.

She is survived by:

Children: Denny Rogers and wife Debbie, Kingston, Oklahoma
Michael Rogers and wife Julie, Kingston, Oklahoma
Peggy Anderson and husband David, Rush Springs, Oklahoma

Grandchildren: Kelly Smith, Cody Rogers, Corrie Murrow, Peyton Cole and Derek McCaleb

Great Grandchildren: Creed Smith, Mason Smith, Lucas Murrow, Clara Murrow, Bexley Cole, Kyson Cole, Navy Rogers

Sister: Doris Havens, Belton, Texas

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 6 brothers and sisters.

Services will be Monday, October 26, 2020 at 10:00 am at Pine Cemetery, Coalgate, Oklahoma. Joe Patterson will officiate the service. Service be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
