Margaret was born in Chicago, Illinois on July 21, 1915 to Pontus Wilford Johnson and Pearl Margaret Bennett.
Margaret was preceded in death by two husbands: Avera Grady Beam and Anthony Edward Vindett; brother, Richard Phillip Johnson; sister, Charlotte Johnson: and grand-daughter, Terese Smith Murdock.
Margaret is survived by her three daughters; Phyllis Beam Rector and husband William Rector, Lesley Beam Smith and her husband William Smith, and Cynthia Beam Higginbotham and her husband, David Higginbotham and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Over her lifetime, Margaret has lived in the following states: Illinois, Michigan, Washington, California, Texas and Missouri.
While in Texas, Margaret held several jobs: secretary, real estate agent, homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Margaret went home to be with Jesus on June 23, 2020.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 29, 2020 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 3100 Sweetwater Boulevard in Sugar Land, Texas.
The Rite of Committal will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
