Verlin Owen Brown, 85, of Paragould, departed this life on June 24, 2020 at Phil and Flo Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Mr. Brown was born on August 2, 1934 in Paragould to the late Calvin Brown and Mayme Valentine Brown.
Mr. Brown was a United States Air Force Veteran, retired from ARDOT and was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include, his wife, Iris Stricklin Brown of the home; sons, Steven Owen Brown and David Kelm of North Little Rock; daughters, Debbie Brown of St. Louis, Missouri and Rita Conger of Kansas City, Missouri; step son; Patrick Weaver of Dewoodland, Texas; step daughters, Sandi Kight of Little Rock, Shery West of Paragould, Rachael Villanvera of Saugus, California; sister, Doris Tritch of Paragould; five grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2020 at the Greene County Memorial Gardens with Ron Blankenship officiating. Mitchell Funeral Home in charge.
There will be no visitation.
Pallbearers will be Ron Blankenship, Cole Riggs, Hunter Riggs, David Clayton, Gary Tritch and Cody West.
