Carroll G. Robinson (Estes), 72 years of age, of Somerset, Kentucky, departed this life on Sunday, June 21st, 2020 at his home.
Carroll was born in Eubank, Kentucky on December 14th, 1947, son of the late Otis Estes and Versie Lucille Blevins Estes. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Carroll had a passion for coaching baseball, enjoyed landscaping, loved dancing and contributed greatly to the community as a building contractor. Carroll retired as the Director of the Somerset/Pulaski County Community Development Foundation.
Carroll was survived by his wife, Cynthia Robinson, who was the love of his life; one son, Jason Estes of Somerset, Kentucky, of whom he was very proud; one sister, Barbara Mullins of Eubank, Kentucky; two granddaughters, Bryn Cornett and Bristol Cornett, who he greatly adored; Bekah Smith, who was the mother of his grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends who mourn his passing.
Carroll was preceded in death by his parents, Otis Estes, who departed this life on December 18th, 1991 and Versie Estes, who departed this life on June 2nd, 2018.
Services were held at a later date. The Southern Oaks Funeral Home in Somerset, Kentucky was in charge of the arrangements for Carroll.
