Eugene D. Ebersole Buried in Green Ranch Cemetery

Eugene D. Ebersole, father of Mrs. Bob Green, was buried in the Green Ranch Cemetery Sunday afternoon at 2:00, with Rev. Richard Wood, minister of Mathews Memorial Presbyterian Church, offciating in the grave rites.
Arrangements were under direction of Godfrey Funeral Home.
Mr. Ebersole, who was 74, died at 4:45 Friday morning in St. Mary's Hospital in Galveston following a short illiness.
Mr. Ebersole had many friends here, having visited his daughter and family numerous times. The Ebersoles reside in Galveston. He had been an executive of Lumberman Investment Corp. before his retirement.
He was born May 12, 1892. Mrs. Ebersole graduated from the University of Nebraska, and served in World War I, when he received the Silver Star and the Croix de Guerre. He was a member of the American Legion, and was a Rotarian.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Pauline Ebersole; a son C. R. Ebersole of Houston' one daughter Mrs. Bob Green of Albany; four brothers, two sisters, and six grandchildren.
