Wilbert W. Givler, 84, of North Canton, died Wednesday, August 11, 2004 in Mercy Medical Center. The son of the late Warren A. and Selma (Hibshman) Givler, he was born in North Canton, December 5, 1919. He was a retired road maintenance equipment operator for both Plain and Jackson Townships as well as Stark County, spanning a 30-plus year career. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, North Canton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ila Mae (Uplinger); daughters, Corlene Coulter of North Canton, Marilyn Wahl of East Canton, Linda Smith of Canton, Pamela (Reginal) Smith of East Canton ; sons, Arnold of the home and Clarence (Vicki) of Louisville; nine grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sister, Georgia Reifsnyder of Alliance. Services will be held 11 AM Saturday in the Karlo & Sons Funeral Home with the Rev Mark Sherwindt officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends are received at the funeral home Friday (TONIGHT) 6-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Zion Lutheran Church, 349 Lindy Lane NW, North Canton, OH 44720.
