Helmuth Rudolf, 87, Wishek, ND died early Monday morning April 25, 2005 at his home in Wishek, North Dakota.

Helmuth Rudolf was born October 21, 1917 on the family farm 17 miles SW of Wishek in McIntosh County, the son of August Rudolf and Maria (Meidinger) Rudolf. He attended Rosenfield School district No. 3 where he received his elementary education and grew to manhood in the vicinity where he helped on the family farm. Helmuth worked on the farm and various other places even taking him to California for a short time. In 1941 he returned home to help out on the family farm.

He and Priscilla Backhaus were married May 5, 1957 at Wishek, ND. They made their home in Wishek where he worked for the Gambles in Wishek and worked for the Wishek Public School as a custodian for 30 years.

His hobbies are hunting, fishing, going to ball games and watching TV.

He is a member of St. Lukes Lutheran Church in Wishek, ND, Wishek Wildlife Club, Eagles member and the Wishek Golf Club.

Surviving are his wife, Priscilla, Wishek, ND, one daughter Rhonda Fouch, Wishek, ND, 3 granddaughters, Kyli, Heather and Alisha 1 grandson, William Wyatt, all at home in Wishek, ND, 2 brothers, Alvin Rudolf and Paul (Estella) Rudolf, all in Wishek, ND, 4 sisters, Lorene Hochhalter, Wishek, ND, Luella Vilhauer, Vancover, WA Mable (Richard) Justice, Alexandria, MN and Alma Dorr, Wishek, ND.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, Esther and Erna.

The funeral service will be at 10:30 AM Thursday April 28, 2005 in St. Lukes Lutheran church in Wishek, North Dakota with Rev. Brandon Woodruff, pastor officiating.

Interment will be made in the Lutheran Cemetery, Wishek, ND Arrangements are by the Haut Funeral Homes in Wishek, ND.

Visitation 10-8 Wednesday at the Funeral Home and 1 hour before Services at the church on Thursday.
