The funeral of the late Bartholomew Alulis, was held from his late home at 47 Union Street Monday and at St. Joseph's church where a high mass of requiem was sung by the Rev. Francis Szubinski, D. D.. Mr. Alulis had suffered a stroke about a year ago and although he had apparently recovered he died very suddenly on Friday. He was for many years an employee at the Delaval Separator works where he was respected by all whom knew him. Besides his widow, Mr. Alulis is survived by two daughters; Mrs. Wesley Runk and Mrs. Joseph Morello, and two sons, David P. and Benjamin F. Alulis, all of this city. There was a profusion of beautiful floral tributes comprising many large and handsome pieces. The bearers were friends of the deceased and the interment was made in the family plot in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of J. G. Mellady.

He was the father to four sons - Anthony, George, Benjamin, David, and two daughters - Mrs. Frances (Alulis) Rutowski / Runk and Mrs. Joseph Morello.
