Her husband preceded her in death on 8/9/1961, also an infant son. She was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church and her membership was with St. John's United Methodist Church, Rockdale.
SURVIVORS: 2 sons, Roy of Temple and Jake of Rockdale; 2 daughters, Mrs. Robert Lee Bounds and Mrs. Henry Tyler of Rockdale; 2 sisters, Lena Sprinkle of Alabama and Dana S. Schultz of Oklahoma; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
