He was born in Root Township, the son of Ernest and Minnie (Bohne) Conrad. He married Virginia Bentz Oct. 28, 1931. Mr. Conrad was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, the Lutheran Laymen's league, the Fraternal Order of Police and the Golden Gloves association. Two sons, Paul Conrad, Jr., of Rangely, Colo., and William R. Conrad of Bluffton; one daughter, Mrs. Roger (Rosie) Pollock of Decatur; three brothers, Alvin Conrad of Fort Wayne, Clarence Conrad of Fort Wayne route 10, and Lloyd Conrad of Decatur; three sisters, Mrs. Luella Ellsworth of Decatur, Mrs. Theodore (Viola) Etzler of VanWert, Ohio, and Mrs. Harold (Gertrude) Etzler of Convoy, Ohio; and three grandchildren, Dawn and Kim Conrad and Tammy Pollock.
Funeral services will be conducted at Zwick funeral home and at the Zion Lutheran church, with Rev. Richard C. Ludwig officiating.
