HARTFORD CITY--Thelma M. Leffingwell, 78, 1300 North High Street, Hartford City, died Monday in Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie. She was a lifelong resident of Hartford City. She was retired from Sinclair Glass in Hartford City.
She belonged to Grace United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Rex A. Leffingwell, New York; a brother, Harry J. (Tut) Bohr (wife: Arlene), Hartford City; two stepsisters, Evelyn Gilland (husband: Charles) and Ann Willmann (husband: Eldon), both of Hartford City; two stepbrothers, Butch Arbuckle, Warren, Ind., and Pete Arbuckle (wife: Annabelle), Marion; two sisters-in-law, Milli M. Masters, Bryant, and Hazel Peer, Hartford City; a brother-in-law, Chalmer D. Leffingwell (wife: Martha); two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Theodore E. Leffingwell, died in 1980. Her parents, Harry John and Bernice Martelle Bohr; a brother, Joseph Bohr; a stepbrother, Raymond Arbuckle, and a stepsister, Marjorie McClain, are also deceased.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Keplinger Funeral Home. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory, north of Muncie. Calling at the funeral home will be 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. today.
