Darrell Ray Mullendore was born September 30, 1959 in Chandler to Eugene and Freda (Stein) Mullendore. He passed away in Oklahoma City June 16, 2020 at the age of 60.

Darrell was a lifelong resident of Wellston where he graduated from high school with the Wellston Class of 1977. He spent most of his adult life operating heavy equipment including an 18-wheeler, tractors, bobcat, and a bulldozer to name a few. He worked as a ranch foreman in Jacktown, but his favorite pastime was farming. Darrell was known by everyone in Lincoln County as he was a help to many people. You always knew what was on his mind, and if you didn’t, he would tell you.

Darrell was preceded in death by his grandparents, Newt and Ida Mullendore, Martin and Dora Stein; brother, Brian Mullendore; father, Eugene Mullendore, and nephew, Michael Mullendore. Survivors include his mother, Freda Mullendore of Wellston; wife of 14 years, Kaye Mullendore; son, Chad Mullendore of Wellston; brother, Rickie Mullendore and wife Gerri of Choctaw; (17) grandchildren, Eric, Brantley, Dylan, Ariel, Declan, Andrew, Keegan, Kenzie, Cali, Kenna, Jace, Lyla; (1) great-grandson, Easton; along with many other family and friends.

A funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2020 at the Missionary Baptist Church in Wellston with Pastor Dennis Osborne officiating and interment following in the Wellston Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
