James E. Collins, 73, an electrician for Electric Boat, Groton, CT, for 35 years passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at the Riverview Healthcare Community in Coventry. He was the beloved husband of Ann L. (Franklin) Collins for 51 years.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Roy E. and Eunice L. (Goff) Collins.

James was the loving father of Kerri A. Collins and her husband Ronald Susi, Jr., and Kimberly L. Collins; brother of Richard Collins and his wife Nancy, and Edward Collins and his wife Janice. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home on Friday, June 19, 2020 With a Mass of Christian BuriL in St. Timothy Church, Warwick Ave., Warwick at 10am. Burial will be in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown.
Face masks are required, social distancing will be observed.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association, 245 Waterman Street, Ste. 306, Providence, RI 02906 will be appreciated.
