Carol Beth Standing, age 84, passed away Monday July 23, 2007 in Draper Utah. She was born August 29, 1922 in Midvale, Utah to Hilmer and Hazel Jensen. She attended Jordan High School and later married Robert T. Standing on November 27, 1946 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. Carol loved to walk and garden. She enjoyed going on cruises with friends. She loved her family and doing things with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children Robert (Jeanette) Standing, Kathy (Steve) Montgomery, and Gary Standing; grandchildren Mike, Jackie, Teri, Jimmy, Michelle, Summer, and Matt. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sister and her husband Robert. A visitation will be held on July 27, 2007 from 11-12 noon at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary 3401 Highland Dr., Salt Lake City followed by a Graveside service at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park. The family wishes to thank the staff at Wentworth Stratford for their care of Carol for the last few years, and Hospice of Utah for their care.
