A funeral for Ben L. Brown, 49, of Rt. 1, Owens Cross Roads will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Galilee Baptist Church, the Rev. Roy Stone and the Rev. John Jenna officiating. Burial will be in Moon Cemetery, Blythe Funeral Home of New Hope directing.
Mr. Brown died Monday at a local hospital.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Virginia B. Brown of Owens Cross Roads; three sons, James Brown of Huntsville, David Brown and Norman Brown, both of Owens Cross Roads; three daughters, Mrs. Ann Ikard of Owens Cross Roads, Mrs. Rosie Davis of Atlanta, Miss Connie Brown of Owens Cross Roads; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elzia Brown of McClure, Ill.; four brothers, Orvil Brown of Jonesboro, Ill., Andrew Brown of Wisconsin, Presley Brown of Peoria, Ill., Oscar Brown of Illinois; three sisters, Mrs. Cola Mayberry of Jonesboro, Ill., Mrs. Mary Bridgeman of Washington, Ill., Mrs. Myrtle Burrett of McClure, Ill.; and two grandchildren.
The body will be at Blythe Funeral Home until an hour before service.
