Funeral services for the late Adam
Fulton were held yesterday afternoon
from the residence of his son, R. A.
Fulton, 229 Ninth street, to the Fraser
cemetery, where interment was made
in the family plot. Rev. Sr. A. Dunn
assisted by Rev. F. W. Kerr, conducted
the services both at the house and the
graveside. The pallbearers were
Messrs. H. A. Belyea, T. Turnbull, A.
Davidson, Thos. Stoddart, Thos. Giffford
and Fire Chief Watson. During the
afternoon the Belyea & Co.’s place
of business was closed, as the son, Mr.
Rupert A. Fulton, is the president of
the firm. There were a large number
of old-timers in attendance at the ser-
vices, as the deceased had resided in
this city and district for a number of
years. He is survived by two sons and
two daughters.

We have just learned of the death at New Westminister of the late Adam Fulton, formerly of Little Bass River. Mr. Fulton and family left for the West 28 years ago and as a pioneer has made good.
A New Westminister paper says:
The funeral of the late Adam Fulton, held Thursday from the residence of his son, Rupert, was largely attended, many of the old pioneers of the district being present. The pallbearers were Messrs. T. Gifford, S. Towle, T. Stoddard, E. Turnbull, A. Watson, H.A. Belyea and A. Davidson. The services were conducted by Rev. Dr. Dunn and Rev. F.W. Kerr.
In the course of his address Rev. Dr. Dunn said in part: “I am pleased to be present here today to bear testimony to a good and godly man – the venerable Adam Fulton. His was the hoary head, a crown of glory, found in the way of righteousness. It is many years ago since I first met the late Mr. Fulton. I had been conducting sacramental services in Aldergrove and had incidentally referred to assurance of salvation. After the service, I noticed an aged couple, the late Mr. Fulton and the late Miss McComb, earnestly discussing the subject of assurance of salvation. Years afterwards, I visited our late brother in the hospital. I referred to this incident, and again had the pleasure of discussing this doctrine with him. In visiting Mr. Fulton during his last illness I have been much impressed with his clear and precise knowledge of the way of salvation. He had done what he could to make his calling and election sure”.
