Charm was the daughter of Benjamin J. and Docia Parmelia Kennedy Parker. Her parents are buried in Pilgrim Cemetery. Charm is buried beside her husband, L. Raymond Kyle.

OBITUARY: Palestine (TX) Herald-Press, Friday, 4 August 1950:
MRS. L. R. KYLE DIES AT ELKHART
Mrs. L. Raymond Kyle, 51, of Elkhart, died at 3:20 p.m. Thursday at her home. Mrs. Kyle, the former Miss Charm Parker, was born in Elkhart on February 26, 1899.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Elkhart Baptist Church with the Reverend D. D. Sumrall and the Reverend G. H. Bailey officiating. Interment was in the Elkhart Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Odell Bennett, Eugene Bratz, Roy Parker, H. W. McIver, Homer Jenkins and Elbert Hortman.
Mrs. Kyle is survived by her husband, L. R. Kyle of Elkhart; one daughter, Mrs. Billy Hawthorne of Houston; one granddaughter, Miss Belinda Hawthorne of Houston; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben J. Parker of Elkhart; two brothers, Joe Bailey and Jack Parker, both of Elkhart; four sisters, Mrs. A. Y. McCracken of Palestine, Mrs. Estelle Paxton of Elkhart, Mrs. Lorene Hollingsworth and Miss Dale Parker, both of Corsicana.
