MRS. EVANS

CAMP HILL - Mrs. Bessie Mae Evans, 62, of Camp Hill died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2007 at Bethany House in Auburn.

Funeral services are planned for Friday, Nov. 9 at 1 p.m. CST at Mt. Lovely Baptist Church in Camp Hill with the Rev. Bernard Harris officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Mrs. Evans is survived by her husband, Will Evans of Camp Hill; one daughter, Shaquelia (Bobby) Evans of Macon, Ga.; two sons, Timothy L. (Hazel) Pulliam of Tuskegee and James G. (Wanda) Pulliam of Daviston; a stepdaughter, Deborah A. (Darryl) Rodgers of Imperial Beach, Calif.; four stepsons, Jerome (Leslie) Evans and Kenneth (Carolyn) Evans, both of Camp Hill, and Christopher (Tara) Evans and Theodore Evans, both of Opelika; five sisters, Ocie M. Godfrey of Camp Hill, Nora J. Agee of New York, N.Y., and Ester M. Davis, Lucille Davis and Pauline James, all of Alexander City; two brothers, Paul (Ossie) Davis and Steve Davis, both of Alexander City; three grandchildren; and a host of step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Evans was born May 30, 1945 in Tallapoosa County. She was a member of Mt. Lovely Baptist Church in Camp Hill.
