Carolina Esther was the daughter of Karl Gustav Chytraeus born 1835 in Älmeboda, Kronoberg, Sweden; dead 1891 Kyrkhult, Blekinge, Sweden and his wife Inga Larsdotter born 1840 Ivetofta, Skåne, Sweden; dead 1896 in Kyrkhult, Blekinge, Sweden. They had 10 children together of which 8 emigrated to the USA, among them Caroline. Caroline was born in Kyrkhult in Blekinge, Sweden. The spelling of the surname is originally Chytraeus in Sweden. In the US the name is spellt Chytraeus, Chytraus or in some cases Chytrus.

57-year Resident Mrs. Sundh Dies

Services for Caroline Sundh, 88, who has lived in Chula Vista since 1911, were held yesterday in Hubbard Mortuary.

She was buried in Glen Abbey Memorial Park.

A native of Sweden, Mrs. Sundh died Monday in a hospital. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Corley of Chula Vista, two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
