She was born Aug. 22, 1942, at Milton, Ore., to Alfred and Catherine (Duhrkop) DeVoe. She moved to Moscow with her family in 1950, where she attended her schooling. She later attended Spokane Falls Community College.
She married Gordon Albert Nov. 8, 1958, at Moscow, and the couple moved to Palouse and later to Rosalia in August 1965, where they owned and operated the Cub Drive-Inn for 11 years. In 1976 the couple moved to Bozeman, Mont., where they operated two laundromat facilities until 1980.
In 1980, the couple moved to Nampa. Yvonne worked for an accounting firm for 14 years as an office manager from 1990 to 2004, when she was injured and forced to retire.
The couple moved to Caldwell in 2002, where they have made their home since.
She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church at Nampa.
Survivors include her husband of nearly 55 years, Gordon Albert of Caldwell; two sons; two daughters; and three sisters. Yvonne is also survived by six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Roy DeVoe.
Memorials may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
