Mrs. Wanda Baker Hutcheson, age 84 of Douglas, passed away Thursday afternoon, June 8, 2020 at The Landings following an extended illness. Mrs. Hutcheson was born November 28, 1935 to the late Elbert Baker and the late Ruby Davis Baker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 4 brothers: Louis Baker, Billy Baker, Gilman Baker and Wayne Baker.

Mrs. Hutcheson, a native of Coffee County, was a homemaker. She attended West Ward Church of God and First Assembly of God.

Survivors include:
Her Husband of 67 Years: Paul Hutcheson of Douglas, GA
3 Children: DeWayne Hutcheson, Delaine Morris and Randall K. “Rufus” Hutcheson all of Douglas, GA
2 Sisters: Faye Vaughn and Jean Cato both of Douglas, GA
7 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren
Many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends

The funeral service was held Friday afternoon, June 12, 2020, at 4:00 P.M. at West Ward Church of God with Rev. Britt Peavy and Rev. Marshall Adcock officiating. The entombment followed in the family mausoleum at Douglas City Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers for the service were: Kade Hutcheson, Bran Hutcheson, Zane Spivey, Hunter Spivey, Todd Winkler and Van Wilson.

Musical Selections for the service were: "The River Doesn"t look to bad for Me" by Jimmie Davis and "They that Wait upon the Lord" by The Calvarymen.
