Priscella Abbott Silver. Born in North Thetford, VT Aug. 19, 1922. Passed away in Los Gatos, CA on April 27, 1994, unexpectedly, after a brief illness. Preceded in death by her parents John and Mildred Ames and her first husband Curtis E. Ames. Survived by her husband of 22 years, Richard F. Silver of Monte Sereno, CA, son Skip Abbot and his wife Valerie of Merchantville, NJ, son Jay Abbott of San Francisco, CA, grandsons Curt and Rich and Curt's wife Cindy. Priscilla raised her family in the Pennsauken area, where she lived for 22 years, and is fondly remembered by her dear friends, especially "The Bridge Club." Mrs. Silver retired in 1978 after 20 years at ITT World Head-quarters in New York City, where she was the Executive Secretary to the Chairman of the Board. A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 7, at 11:00AM, First Presbyterian Church, 10 West Maple Ave., Merchantville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 410 White Horse Pk, Haddon Hgts, NJ 08035.
