Surviving is his wife; three sons: John Jr. of Ancona, Joseph of Streator, and Daniel of Tonica; four daughters: Monica (Eugene) Brown of Streator, Rosemary (Richard) Schaibley of Streator, Bernice of Streator, and Ann (Kenneth) Dale of Aurora; 19 grandchildren; three brothers: Steve of Grand Ridge, George of Marseilles, Albert of Grand Ridge; five sisters: Mary (J. M.) Inks of Brookfield, FL, Anna Budlock of Marseilles, Clara (E.J.) Kehoe of Blackstone, Margaret (C.D.) Graham of Ottawa, and Irene (Michael) Vercimak of Ottawa.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
A member of St. Stephen's Church, he farmed in the Streator area all of his life.
