Norma Lee Steele of Kansas City, Kansas passed away on Friday, May 29, 2020 at Bonner Springs Nursing and Rehab Center. She was 82 years old. Due to present circumstances, there will be a private family service on Saturday, June 6, 2020. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Norma’s name to the American Cancer Society. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

Norma was born on December 30, 1937 in Thornfield, Missouri to Loyd and Erma (Friend) Cooper. She was a long time resident of Kansas City, Kansas. Norma worked at the Argentine Credit Union for 37 years. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

Norma was preceded in death by her parents. Loyd and Erma Cooper; and her sister, Mona Foster.

Left to cherish her memory is her son, Theron Miller and family of Bonner Springs, Kansas; three sisters, Imagene Pierce of Lebanon Missouri, Pauline Adkisson of Springfield, Missouri, and Sue Murphy of Mountain Grove, Missouri; and two brothers, Darrell Cooper of Mountain Grove, Missouri, and Harold Copper of Thornfield, Missouri; along with a host of great friends.
