Carolynn I. Watson, 72, Raymore, MO, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at her home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Walker Cemetery in Thayer, MO. Carolynn was born October 11, 1947 in Oregon County, Thayer, MO, a daughter of Carroll E. and Irene (Brazeal) Madden. She grew up in Thayer and was a 1965 graduate of Thayer High School. She was united in marriage to Paul Ray Watson on December 25, 1965 at the Freewill Baptist Church in Thayer. She had lived in Grandview, MO for 12 years before moving to Raymore, where she had lived for 43 years. Carolynn was a homemaker and she was a member of Southland Baptist Church in Belton, MO. Carolynn was preceded in death by her father, Carroll Madden. She is survived by her husband, Paul, of the home; two sons, Tony Watson (Jennifer), Archie, MO and Kevin Watson (Kimberly), Peculiar, MO; her mother, Irene Madden, Thayer; one sister, Shirley Walters (Bishop), South Greenfield, MO; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-granddaughters and 1 great-grandson, and 7 step-grandchildren
