Charles Ray Paige was scheduled to be a member of the 1958 George Washington Carver High School Graduating Class of 1958 in Picayune, Mississippi. However, it didn't happen as he lost his life in an automobile accident in Slidell, Louisiana in October 1957. Three of his friends who were in the car with him that night survived the accident.
