Henry Iverson was born in Trondhjem, Norway on June 7, 1860 and passed away at the hospital in Mauston, Wis. on July 30, 1940. He was aged 80y 1m 23d.
He came to the United States in young manhood and in 1891 was married to Bertha Hansen in Chicago, Ill. A son and a daughter born to Mr. and Mrs. Iverson passed away in infancy. Son Harold died in 1924. Two daughters, Mrs. Sylvia Doege of Appleton, Minn and Mrs. Blanche Clare of Los Angeles, Cal., and one son Charles C. Iverson of Jefferson, survive. He also has three grandchildren and many friends.
Mr. Iverson was in the employ of Northwestern Railway for 41 years, for several years out of Chicago, later at Jefferson and still later in Wisconsin. He retired in 1925.
Mrs. Iverson died May 2, 1902, and after her death, Mr. Iverson went to Necedah, Wis. to make his home. He was a member of Blue Lodge and Chapter at Necedah and Commandery at Sparta, Wis. and Eastern Star at Necedah.
