Carl M. Hastings, 88, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, May 31, 2020 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born March 18, 1932 in Ratcliff, Arkansas. He was retired from Arkansas Casket Company, a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War and of the Baptist faith.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, June 4 at Greenhill Cemetery in Cameron under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
He is survived by two sons, Carl Edward Hastings of Wister and Earl Mathew Hastings and wife, Barbara of Springdale; one daughter, Jane Merz and husband, Ed of Broken Bow; one brother, William Hastings and wife, Marilyn of Bokoshe; one sister, Marie McDonald of Bokoshe; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Lavon (Jones) Hastings.
