Lorraine Charlotte Peterson, age 93, of Brainerd, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at the Harmony House in Brainerd. Lorraine was born in Kingford, Michigan to Guy and Rose Mary (Sears) Dunemann. She married Andy Peterson, on September 7, 1948 and together they raised a son, David. Lorraine worked for the State Hospital. Lorraine enjoyed crafts of all kinds. Most recently she spent her time stamping, making greeting cards and sharing them with many. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed sewing. Lorraine was very religious and enjoyed playing the organ. Her favorite scripture was Psalm 27. She loved to travel, enjoying many, many trips. She was super proud to be from Michigan. She adored donkeys and had a large collection of them.

Lorraine is survived by her sister, Dolores (Roger) Mathwig; sisters-in law: Theora “Chee Chee” Dunemann, Arita Dunemann, Mary Peterson and Vivian Erickson; many nieces and nephews.

Lorraine is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Andy; son, David; brothers: Kenneth Duneman and Wayne “Red” Dunemann; niece, Cheryl Hanson.

There will be no services for Lorraine, burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery. www.halvorson-taylor.com
