Anoush Mardirosian Delcore…was born in Boston in 1937 of two loving, proud Armenian parents of whom both were survivors of the genocide. Like so many immigrants they were grateful to become American citizens.

Anoush was very connected and active in her Church as a Sunday school teacher and involved in many other Church activities in her younger healthier days with her parents and later with her husband and two daughters. She and her husband Paul were proud to be elected to serve a term as President of the Church's couple's club of which this brought great joy and pride to them both.

Anoush was brought up to be brave, strong, honest, hardworking and resilient – she enjoyed a few different careers in her life. Most notably, as a Social Secretary to Elizabeth Saltonstall, of whom she is a registered American Artist of Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard. She also enjoyed estate sales and antique dealing; she and her husband Paul worked part-time managing an Antique shop for a few years after their retirement.

Anoush met and fell in love with her childhood sweetheart Paul Delcore, and in May 2017 they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary…truly unheard of these days. Anoush claimed the success to be mutual devotion, patience, forgiveness and love.

Throughout their many years together Anoush and Paul were always open to meet and make new friends. They both enjoyed socializing, debating politics and talking about history and always open to learning about different cultures.

Anoush enjoyed all types of music and loved to dance. She and her family loved to attend plays at the Hyannis Music Tent.

Anoush also loved to travel, whether it was to Maine at a whims notice for the weekend or to New Hampshire for the day to Antique shop or to Europe with her Husband Paul.

They lived in West Roxbury and built a second home together in North Falmouth…Old Silver Beach – little Armenia on the Cape! They opened their home on the Cape to so many family and friends and enjoyed many happy years there before returning to the suburbs of Boston. Most recently lived in Westwood where they enjoyed a wonderful social environment with the newly found neighbors and friends.

Anoush befriended easily and was profoundly generous. If she thought of you as her friend and ally, you would truly be the benefactor of the friendship. She was known to be a bit of a spitfire too that could surface quickly… she would not take any gruff from anyone and that was for sure a fact.

Anoush and Paul prayed together every day for their friends and family always remembering others and thanking our Lord for the life they lived together and for the family and loving friends they enjoyed over the years.

…she is a true inspiration of courage, strength and faith.
