Organizations/Clubs: He served the U.S. Army in the 85th Depot Repair Squadron in WWII. Charlie was a member of the First Christian Church where he served as an Elder and a Deacon, and also a member of the Lion’s Club, VFW, and the American Legion all of Union City.

Survived By: Wife of 63 yrs. Janet Thokey Blackmore, daughter Jennie C. Blackmore of Denver, CO; and one son Thom M. (Beth E.) Blackmore of Elm Grove, WI. Grandchildren, Kelli, Alison, and Carly Blackmore. Two nephews and one niece.
Preceded By: Parents, Two sisters, two brothers.

Visitation: 12 Noon – 2 PM Saturday February 12, 2011 at the First Christian Church in Union City.
SERVICES: 2 PM Sat. Feb. 12, 2011 also at the First Christian Church.
Officiating: Rev. Harold Libert and Rev. Roberta Hart
Burial: Union City Cemetery
