Lutheran minister, one-time pastor
at Doubs, and a former superintendent
of the Buckingham School
for Boys in Buckeystown, died at
9 o'clock Friday night at 13 Kemper
Avenue, Westminster. He was
stricken with a heart attack about
6 p. m. and failed to regain consciousness.
He was 63 years of age.
A native of Frederick county,
he was a son of the late David
and Catherine Fogle Ainsworth.
He was born October 15, 1887.
During his active ministry, he
served churches at New Haven,
Conn., Doubs and at Shanksville,
Pa. Since his retirement, he had
been a special agent of the New
York Life Insurance Company.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Clara
Donsife Ainsworth; two children:
Mary Catherine Ainsworth, at
home, and John Edgar Ainsworth,
Jr., Washington, and two nieces.
