William R. Holsclaw, 44, of 2132 So 56th, died Thursday in a truck accident near Auburn. Born at Cottonwood, S.D., he was a salesman and driver for Dudley Transfer Co. He was a member of St. Paul Methodist church and the Lincoln Traffic Assn., and had lived here 14 years and in Nebraska 25 years.

Survivors: wife, Merna; daughter, Judy; mother, Mrs. Fred Holsclaw of O'Neill; brothers, James and Robert of O'Neill, Frederick of Madrid, Spain, Richard of Boulder, Colo., Marvin of Alliance and Paul of Norwalk, Calif.; sisters, Mrs. Lois Murdy of Lincoln, Mrs. John Farrier of Chambers, Mrs. Ray Schumann of O'Neill and Mrs. Donald Snell of San Fernando, Calif.
