OBITUARY: Palestine (TX) Herald-Press, Thursday, 26 February 1987:

Services for Coleman "Skinny" Grigsby, 71, of Route 1, Elkhart, will be at 3 p.m. today in Bailey & Foster Funeral Home Chapel with Perry Jones officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Elkhart. Mr. Grigsby died Wednesday at Anderson County Memorial Hospital.

He was born June 14, 1915, in Elkhart, a son of W. P. and Gertrude Coleman Grigsby. He was a rancher, a livelong resident of Elkhart and a member of Elkhart Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma Grigsby of Elkhart; two daughters, Marilyn Woody of Elkhart and Diane Duitch of Tyler; a son, Richard Grigsby of Friendswood; three sisters, Ruby White and Nancy Fulmer, both of Palestine, and Weda P. Robinson of Onalaska; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
